4. Request for a ruling on principle Ekkersrijt 2037 Transport company De Rooy / Jelle de Jong

Within the intended planning area at Ekkersrijt 2037 in Son, the initiator has an
transport company. The land is currently used as a parking and storage area.
The initiator wants to realize temporary housing on this land by means of the
placement of four residential units, intended for 192 people. To this end, he wants to apply for an environmental
permit for a period of ten years.

The council decides to cooperate with the initiative proposal for temporary
housing for drivers, provided that it is located at a different location, east of the head office
.

5. Request for a ruling on a matter of principle Olen 9 / Jelle de Jong

The Olen 9 location currently has a commercial designation with the specific designation
of business – agricultural supply company. The activities are no longer being carried out and a
of the sheds/stables is being rented to a company that sells barbecues online. This use is
inappropriate. The owners want to stop the business activities and switch to residential use.
They want to add a residence to the site, demolishing the surplus buildings
.

The council decides to approve the 'preconditions and principles for Olen 9
Breugel for the redevelopment of the development site from commercial to residential use (
wonen).

development on the former Betonson site, it was agreed that the municipality would acquire a
subplot measuring 881 m² from SPCE B.V. The stream
"De Grote Beek" runs through this subplot. De Grote Beek is also part of the Brabant Nature Network and the

7. Social Domain Monitor July 14, 2022 / Steven Grevink

The Social Policy Monitor is discussed with the municipal council annually, usually twice a year. Last year, this took place once (July 2021). This year, the
This year, the
monitor will also be presented once, on July 14. From 2023 onwards, the monitor will again be presented twice
a year, in the spring and autumn.
The preparation of this monitor was difficult this year due to the fact that we
were unable to make sufficient use of the knowledge and experience gained in recent years
(changes in the team, illness, and the incomplete availability of monitor data
from our systems). The latter mainly concerns the key figures for youth numbers
and WMO.

College Decision:

  1. to approve the presentation to the city council on July 14;
  2. to resume the presentation of the Social Domain Monitor twice a year from 2023 onwards;
  3. ask the city council what information should be included in the 2023 monitor
  4. recorded.
