5. (Re)development of Van den Elsenstraat 3: decision in principle, including preconditions and principles / John Frenken
On October 11, 2021, the initiator submitted a request in principle for the redevelopment of the plot at Van den Elsenstraat 3 in Breugel. In 2014, a long-fronted farmhouse was demolished at this location. Since then, the land has been lying fallow. The initiator wishes to build six homes on the plot, including three terraced houses, a semi-detached house, and one detached house, each consisting of one or two stories. The preconditions and principles have been identified based on existing policy. The council is asked to approve the 'preconditions and principles' for the initiator to elaborate on the initiative proposal. The initiator and their advisors are therefore invited to come up with a detailed plan based on this.
College Decision:
- to agree to the "preconditions and principles for the redevelopment of Van den Elsenstraat 3" for the redevelopment of the Van den Elsenstraat 3 development site;
- to inform the initiator in writing about the "preconditions and principles for the redevelopment of Van den Elsenstraat 3" and to request that a detailed plan be drawn up that implements these.
6. (Re)development of Ekkersrijt 4088-4090; adoption of zoning plan "Ekkersrijt; Entrance to Ekkersrijt" / John Frenken
On October 12, 2021, the council decided to make the draft zoning plan "Ekkersrijt; Entrance to Ekkersrijt' and the accompanying draft environmental permit for the period for comments or objections (October 21, 2021, to December 1, 2021). No responses were received during the period for comments or objections. To complete this process, the zoning plan 'Ekkersrijt; Entrance to Ekkersrijt' can be submitted to the municipal council for adoption. Once the municipal council has adopted the zoning plan, the municipal executive can definitively grant the environmental permit.
College Decision:
- take note of the draft zoning plan "Ekkersrijt; Entrance to Ekkersrijt";
- to propose to the council that the zoning plan "Ekkersrijt; Entrance to Ekkersrijt" be adopted in accordance with the attached draft council proposal and draft council decision.

8. Limited administrative response to audit investigation Poverty in Son en Breugel / Paul van Liempd
The audit committee has investigated poverty policy in the municipality of Son en Breugel. In September 2021, the Audit Committee presented its report to the municipal council. The Municipal Executive deliberately chose not to request an administrative response.
