3 Political Evening Sept. 12, 2024

The college takes note of the program of the September 12 Political Evening and the list of commitments of the July 3, 2024 council.

4 RIB Housing CMD

During the discussion of the council proposal Housing CMD and credit request Heistraat 6, on Thursday, June 20, Alderman Grevink made a commitment. This commitment amounts to the college entering into discussions with the landlord regarding possible residual value and compensation for the furnishings of Heistraat 6, in the event the lease should be terminated after 10 years. Via a supplied text
the city council is informed about the fulfillment of this commitment. After adoption the text can be included in the next collective RIB.

The college decides to adopt the text for the collection RIB.

5 Decision on complaint

A complaint was filed against conduct of an employee of the municipality. The complaint was handled in accordance with Chapter 9 of the General Administrative Law Act and the 2009 Complaint Procedure. The complaint handler recommends that the complaint be declared unfounded.

The college decides to declare the complaint directed against conduct of an employee of the municipality of Son en Breugel unfounded, as included in the letter.

6 Award of construction and residential development Akkerpad

The tendering procedure for the preparation of the site Akkerpad in Breugel has been completed. This work is necessary to make the construction of 8 homes by developer Hendriks Coppelmans possible, as well as to make the area "habitable" after construction. From the procedure, the company RO-infra B.V. in Rosmalen emerged as the cheapest tenderer. The proposal is to award RO-infra B.V. the contract for the development of the site Akkerpad.

The college decides to award the contract for construction and residential preparation of the Akkerpad site, to RO-infra.

7 Presentation center vision Son

In September, the City Council will again be updated on the Son Center Vision. In preparation, the urban planning office has prepared a presentation. The presentation will now be submitted to the college for information.

The college decides to:

To accept the presentation for the Son Center Vision for the September 26 political evening for your information;
To adopt the memo for the purpose of the advisory council session.

8 Cooperation covenant Ekkersrijt

A covenant has been drafted to reconfirm (the already long-standing) cooperation between Entrepreneurs Association Ekkersrijt (OVE) and our municipality and give it a new impetus. With this covenant we emphasize the position of OVE as the representative of the entrepreneurs at Ekkersrijt.

College Decision:

To agree to the Cooperation Covenant between the Municipality and Entrepreneurs Association Ekkersrijt;
To take note of the Position paper of Entrepreneurs Association Ekkersrijt;
To request the Mayor to delegate the signing of the Cooperation Covenant to Alderman Jan Boersma;
To adopt the council information letter on developments at Ekkersrijt;
Send out the RIB this week.

9 Purchase and rental of combination building fire station

Following the 2013 purchase contract, it is proposed that the part of the combination building known as the fire station on the Rooijseweg 1 in Son en Breugel be repurchased by the municipality of Son en Breugel. The part in use as fire station will then be leased by the municipality to VRBZO.
The college decides;

To adopt the contract of sale for the purchase of the part of the combination building known as the fire station at Rooijseweg 1 in Son en Breugel;
To adopt the lease agreement for the rental of a portion of the combination building known as the fire station to VRBZO;
To inform the City Council of the purchase and lease of the combination building through a council information letter. This RIB is adopted.
Reflect the financial impact of this proposal in the 2nd interim
report 2024.

10 OER Brainport State Highways

In order to support the implementation of the Regional Energy Strategies (RES) and make meters to achieve the climate goals, the program Opwek van Energie op Rijksvastgoed (OER) has been set up. This program is a collaboration between municipalities, provinces and Rijkswaterstaat to explore where and how we can generate renewable energy on government property. With Son en Breugel, the first preliminary exploration phase has now been completed. For the next phase; the exploration phase, we are asked to agree to the follow-up process and to sign a letter of intent.
