3 Political Evening September 12, 2024

The council takes note of the program for the Political Evening on September 12 and the list of commitments made by the council on July 3, 2024.

4 RIB Accommodation cmd.

During the discussion of the council proposal on housing and the credit request for Heistraat 6 on Thursday, June 20, Alderman made a commitment. This commitment means that the council will enter into discussions with the landlord about any residual value and compensation for the interior of Heistraat 6, in the event that the lease is terminated after 10 years. The city council will be informed about the details of this commitment via a submitted text

The council decides to adopt the text for the collective RIB.

5 Decision on complaint

A complaint has been filed against the conduct of a municipal employee. The complaint has been handled in accordance with Chapter 9 of the General Administrative Law Act and the 2009 Complaints Procedure. The complaint handler recommends that the complaint be declared unfounded.

The council decides to declare the complaint against the conduct of an employee of the municipality of Son en Breugel unfounded, as stated in the letter.

6 Awarding contract for construction and site preparation Akkerpad

The tendering procedure for the construction and preparation of the Akkerpad site in Breugel has been completed. This work is necessary to enable the construction of eight homes by developer Hendriks Coppelmans, as well as to make the area "habitable" after construction. The procedure resulted in RO-infra B.V. in Rosmalen emerging as the cheapest bidder. The proposal is to award RO-infra B.V. the contract for the construction and preparation of the Akkerpad site.

The council decides to award the contract for the construction and preparation of the Akkerpad site to RO-infra.

7 Presentation of the Son Center Vision

In September, the city council will be updated on the Son Center Vision. In preparation, the urban planning agency has prepared a presentation. The presentation is now being submitted to the council for information.

The college decides to:

To take note of the presentation for the Son Center Vision for the political evening of September 26;
To adopt the memo for the purpose of the advisory council session.

8 Ekkersrijt Cooperation Agreement

A covenant has been drawn up to reaffirm the long-standing cooperation between the Ekkersrijt Business Association (OVE) and our municipality and to give it new impetus. With this covenant, we emphasize OVE's position as representative of the entrepreneurs at Ekkersrijt.

College Decision:

To approve the Cooperation Agreement between the municipality and the Ekkersrijt Business Association;
Take note of the Position Paper of the Ekkersrijt Business Association;
To request the mayor to assign the signing of the Cooperation Agreement to Alderman Boersma;
To adopt the council information letter on developments at Ekkersrijt;
Send out the RIB this week.

9 Purchase and rental of combined fire station building

Following the purchase agreement of 2013, it is proposed that the part of the combined building known as the fire station at Rooijseweg 1 in Son en Breugel be repurchased by the municipality of Son en Breugel. The part used as a fire station will then be leased by the municipality to the VRBZO.
The council decides;

To approve the purchase agreement for the acquisition of the part of the combined building known as the fire station at Rooijseweg 1 in Son en Breugel;
To establish the lease agreement for the rental of part of the combined building known as the fire station to the VRBZO;
To inform the municipal council about the purchase and rental of the combined building by means of a council information letter. This RIB is adopted.

10 OER Brainport National Highways

The Energy Generation on Government Property (OER) program was set up to support the implementation of Regional Energy Strategies (RES) and to make progress toward achieving climate goals. This program is a collaboration between municipalities, provinces, and Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management) that explores where and how we can generate renewable energy on government-owned land. The initial exploratory phase has now been completed in Son en Breugel. For the next phase, the exploratory phase, we are being asked to agree to the follow-up process and sign a letter of intent.
