2. Start procedure draft zoning plan "Breugel, Akkerpad" / John Frenken
In July 2020, an antecedent agreement and a purchase and cooperation agreement for the Akkerpad housing project was concluded between the municipality and developer Hendriks Coppelmans for the construction of eight homes. Subsequently, an information evening was held in September 2020 for the neighborhood surrounding Akkerpad. In the following period, interviews were held with several residents to answer their questions. In the spring of this year, urban planning firm Antea Group was commissioned to prepare a draft zoning plan. This draft is now ready and is up for adoption. Then the procedure can be started for the draft plan. The first step is to publish the draft and make it available for inspection.
College Decision:
- To adopt the draft zoning plan "Breugel, Akkerpad";
- To release the draft zoning plan for further adoption procedure in the context of the opportunity for the submission of views.
3. New approach Sustainability Awards / Paul van Liempd
The 2020 Sustainability Awards were not presented due to the tightened Corona measures. Also, evaluation of previous years showed that entries for the awards were minimal. It was therefore decided to make a new approach this year for organizing and presenting the sustainability awards in 2021. In the new approach, a number of rules have been relaxed to make entries more attractive. A distinction has been made between the youth and adult prizes.
College Decision:
- Adopt the new approach for the 2021 sustainability awards;
- Inform the council by memo on the new approach to sustainability awards.
4. Process decision / Paul van Liempd
The GGzE Foundation has subpoenaed the municipality of Son and Breugel. The subpoena has been served via law firm Dirkzwager N.V., in-house counsel for the municipality of Eindhoven. The subpoena concerns the contracted products Beschermd wonen, dagbesteding and ambulatory guidance (OZL). The college decides to defend in these proceedings and to grant attorneys at law from Dirkzwager N.V. and some employees of the municipality of Eindhoven power of attorney to represent the municipality of Son en Breugel.
The college decides to adopt the process decision.
