Temporary Emergency Energy Fund
In April 2025, the Temporary Emergency Energy Fund opened. Within a few days, the available budget ran out, so the Emergency Fund closed. New applications are no longer possible.
Emergency Fund Energy 2025
Through the Emergency Energy Fund, the Rijksoverheid made available 56.3 million euros. With this, they gave low-income households 6 months of support in paying their high bill(s) for gas, electricity and heat.
Within a few days a lot of applications came in. As a result, this budget was exhausted within a few days.

The Emergency Fund is regulated by the Rijksoverheid and not by municipality.
