Marketplace Applications

What is it?

If you want to occupy a place at the weekly market, you need a market permit.

What to do.

You apply for the permit from the municipality. In your application, specify which market you want to be at and what you are selling.

For the fixed markets, you always need a market permit from the municipality for a stand at the market. If you do not have a permanent place, you can compete for a place as a follower.

  1. Each market day, the market master assigns the daily spaces by line of business.
  2. The municipality immediately issues the permit that allows you to register as a follower.
  3. You must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce and registered with the Central Registration Office, Nieuwe Parklaan 72-74, 2597 LE The Hague, telephone (070) 350 60 50.

If you want to place your stall in a public place, you need a stand permit.

Placement on the waiting list is free of charge.

  • for each day or part thereof that the pitch is occupied €1.69 per linear meter (individual pitches)
  • for permit holders € 18.58 per linear meter per quarter

In addition to the market fee, you must also pay stall rent
