Youth Medal
The mayor would like to honor a young hero from Son en Breugel every year.
She does this by presenting the Son en Breugel Youth Medal.
Do you know anyone in Son en Breugel under the age of 19 who has done something special?
And do you think this young hero deserves to be recognized?
If so, nominate that person for the Youth Medal.
Who is a hero?
Here are a few examples.
A child or a young person who
- has done something special.
- has achieved a remarkable athletic feat.
- sets an example for others.
- has been caring for a family member, an elderly person, or someone who is ill for a long time.
- goes grocery shopping every week for someone in the neighborhood
- does a lot of work for an association
- organized a successful fundraiser for a good cause.
