What is it?
Do you want to start a daycare center, out-of-school care, playgroup or guest parent agency in Son en Breugel? Then you must be registered in the National Register for Childcare and Nurseries (LRKP). To be listed in this register, you must submit an application to the municipality in which you wish to establish your facility.
If you want to start as a host parent, you must first register with a registered host parent agency. All registered guest parent agencies can be found at http://www.landelijkregisterkinderopvang.nl/.
What to do.
If you want to start a day care center, out-of-school care, playgroup or guest parent agency, you must submit an application to the municipality in which you want to establish the facility. The GGD will then conduct an inspection at the location where you want to establish the facility. You will then receive a letter from the municipality stating whether you may start the facility.
Being a host parent
If you want to start as a host parent, you must first register with a registered host parent agency. The host parent agency will submit the application for you. The GGD will then conduct an inspection at the address where the children will be cared for. This can be the address of the host parent or the address of the requesting parent. The GGD sends the inspection report to the municipality and the host parent agency. The guest parent agency receives a message from the municipality stating whether the guest parent may start.
The municipality has 10 weeks to register the child care. During this period, the municipality and GGD check data, documents and circumstances. The municipality can extend this period once.
Requirements
Child care must meet various quality requirements. The GGD assesses at the care address whether these requirements are met and also checks whether the necessary data and documents are present. The Requirements can be found on the site of the Rijksoverheid, use the search term 'childcare'.
Forms
Application forms and amendment forms can be found on the site of the Rijksoverheid.
Once your application has been processed and approved by the municipality, the GGD will come by for an inspection. You can read about what to expect and do yourself before that in the GGD's.
