Will you join us in giving the heather more space? Come to the Oud Meer nature working day on November 5.
On Saturday, November 5, we will hold a nature work day together with IVN Son en Breugel, Scouting Dutmella and Bosgroep Zuid-Nederland at Oud Meer. Between 9.30-15.00 we will work on the heathland to saw away pines and birches. This will prevent the heath from slowly becoming overgrown. This preserves the habitat of birds, insects, reptiles and amphibians.
At 9.30 we will gather at the Dutmella scout building. At 9.45 everyone goes to the heath. Bosgroep Zuid-Nederland will give an instruction on the work here. For participants who only participate in the afternoon, another group will leave from the scouting building at 13.30.
Will you participate?
Adults and children ages 7 and up (accompanied) are welcome! Can't do the whole day? Then only in the morning or afternoon is also very fine. For participants who come to help all day, lunch will be ready at 1 p.m. at Dutmella's new Scout building.
You can sign up at https://www.natuurwerkdag.nl/klus/oudmeer-sonse-bossen/2022-11-05
Participation is free of charge. Parking is available at the parking lot on the Dutmellapad, on Bestseweg between Son and Best.
With room for 150 participants, this nature working day is one of the largest sites in North Brabant.
