DIT inspection automotive Son en Breugel
During an inspection of 10 companies in the automotive sector by the Dommelstroom Intervention Team (DIT) yesterday, it was found that a number of buildings had structural issues. This could lead to unsafe situations. The owners have been notified of this.
At a number of addresses, further investigation is being conducted to determine whether business activities are in violation of the Environmental Plan. "The safety of our residents and businesses is paramount. Yesterday's inspection once again demonstrates how important these are in preventing dangerous situations for businesses and their staff," said Mayor Otters-Bruijnen.
All companies visited cooperated fully. The following authorities were involved in the inspection: the municipality of Son en Breugel, the East Brabant police, and the Southeast Brabant Environmental Service (ODZOB).

About the Dommelstroom Intervention Team
The DIT is an intervention team under the direction of the six Dommelstroom municipalities of Cranendonck, Geldrop-Mierlo, Heeze-Leende, Nuenen, Son en Breugel and Valkenswaard. Under the direction of the DIT, the authorities regularly inspect buildings and locations that may violate the rules. The team looks at issues such as fire safety, bookkeeping, illegal occupancy, permits, registration Basic Registration of Persons, human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, benefit fraud and other violations.
