What to do.
Transportation Pass
You can use the shared cab at the reduced rate if you have a transportation pass.
Apply for the transportation pass at the CMD (Center for Social Participation). The CMD can be reached by telephone every working day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at telephone number (0499) 491470. An appointment will then be made for a personal interview with one of our employees. During this conversation, we will determine whether, given your situation, the shared cab is a suitable facility for you.
Transportation is by regular cabs and cab vans. A shared cab is usually shared with other passengers. Because of this, a ride may take a little longer than with an ordinary cab. On the other hand, a ride in a shared cab can be cheaper than a regular cab.
Travel times
The shared cab runs seven days a week from 8 a.m. to midnight. You are picked up at the front door by a cab or cab van and taken to your destination without transferring. Only for visits to the hospital or a doctor, rides are available on weekdays from 07.00 am.
Transport area
The transport area of the part-taxi includes an area of 25 kilometers around Son en Breugel.
The shared cab allows you to maintain your social contacts: for example, visiting family or friends or traveling to the city. In addition, you can also use the shared cab to make visits to a doctor, specialist or hospital. This transportation is subject to the same Requirements and restrictions as other part-taxi transportation.
Super-regional transport
If you use the shared cab you can use Valys for transportation outside the shared cab's transportation area. This is a national system in which the municipality is not involved. Further information can be found on the Valys website or by calling (0900) 96 30.
A separate arrangement applies to Zonhove residents in addition to Valys.Contact the CMD for more information.
