The GRIP vehicle is coming to Son en Breugel
Good news: waste collector Blink's Raw Materials Collection Point (GRIP) will be coming to Son en Breugel on March 27, 2026. The GRIP is a mobile collection point. You can drop off various types of waste here, such as small electrical appliances, empty batteries, metals, and wood. This makes dropping off these raw materials easy, convenient, and saves time and effort. Upon presentation of your environmental pass, you can drop off one shopping bag of waste per visit.
The GRIP truck visits three fixed locations in Son en Breugel six times a year: Raadhuisplein Son), Brabantlaan (Son), and Piet Heinlaan (Breugel). All GRIP dates, times, and locations are listed in the BlinkAfvalApp.
Household Hazardous Waste
You can also drop off Household Hazardous Waste KCA) at the GRIP, such as leftover paint, medicines, and other chemicals. Many residents collect this type of waste at home and take it to the recycling center once a year, for example. Now you can also drop off KCA at the GRIP truck.
Separating waste, right in your neighborhood
New products can be made from the 'waste' that is handed in. We call the usable parts '
' raw materials – which is where the name 'Grondstoffen Inleverpunt' (Raw Materials Collection Point) comes from. With the GRIP, Blink, together with the municipality, wants to make it even easier for you to hand in your recyclable items for reuse, conveniently and close to home.
