Collection
Directly arrange
What is it?
If you want to collect money or goods for a good cause, you must apply for a collection permit from the municipality.
How does it work?
The municipality does not want too many collections to take place at the same time. It keeps track of when collections are held in a collection schedule. The municipality will check whether your collection fits into the schedule.
For large national campaigns, the municipality will assess your application against the advice of the Central Bureau for Fundraising (CBF). You can view the national collection schedule at . You can also view the municipality's schedule here. Check the collection schedule in advance and only then decide on the date for the collection or fundraising.
What to do.
You apply for the permit at the municipality.
In your application, you must demonstrate that you will spend the money raised in a responsible manner for the stated purpose. Please also provide the following information:
- the name of the organization organizing the collection

It is advisable to submit your application at least 8 weeks in advance.
How long does it take?
