Administrative Agreement 2026–2030

Following the March 2026 municipal elections, Dorpsvisie, CDA, and PRO Son en Breugel held discussions regarding the formation of the municipal government. The results of their discussions are set forth in the 2026–2030 Governance Agreement. 

The Administrative Agreement sets out broad outlines of agreements on eight topics: Son en Breugel’s autonomy; Implementation of council decisions; Finance; Sports fields; Housing development in the town center; Biodiversity, nature, and landscape; the asylum seekers’ center; and Breeakker Noord. 

The parties forming the administration have explicitly invited all parties in the city council to work together to draft a substantive program for the 2026–2030 period. That process is still ongoing (as of July 2026).
