Modification of dog walking areas

Due to the construction of the express bicycle route F58 and various signals received about unsafe situations, the dog walking areas have been modified. The dog walking area between Houtens Bridge and Kanaaldijk Noord 18 is no longer designated as a dog walking area. This means that dogs must be leashed here. 

The other dog walking areas have not been modified. Dogs are allowed to run loose in the following areas:

  1. Bijenlaan from corner of Eiffellaan toward A50 viaduct for 400 m
  2. Kanaaldijk Noord after side road Hoberglaan to Houtens Bridge
  3. Kanaaldijk Noord after Molenstraat side road to Hooijdonk Bridge
  4. Kanaaldijk Noord after Stakenburgstraat 21 to Kwadestraat
  5. Area theonse Bergen between Planetenlaan, H. Veenemanstraat, Hoefbladlaan and water the Dead Arm of the river Dommel
  6. Forest area between Gentiaanlaan, Bestseweg and habitation Muzenberg, Fonteinberg, Geuzenberg, Hoogenberg and Potjesberg 

The modification of the dog walking areas is included in the 'Amendment to general designation decree municipality of Son en Breugel 2022'. This decree can be accessed at www.officielebekendmakingen.nl.
