3,080 young, native trees planted through Trees for All
This winter we are planting 3,080 young, native trees where dead trees had to go. This is how we give the forest a chance to recover and come back stronger. Some of the saplings will get a fence so that animals don't eat them and they can grow into a healthy and varied forest.
Thanks to the cooperation with Trees for All (to which ASML contributes financially) we can plant these new trees. In the Brainport region, 455,000 trees will be planted in the coming years.
In the fall of 2024, we unfortunately had to remove many trees that had not survived the extremely wet period of 2023/2024. Despite our hopes for recovery, the summer of 2025 still proved too tough for many trees. Therefore, this fall we are again clearing diseased, dead and fallen trees so that the forest remains safe and accessible for all.
