The waste disposal site in Son en Breugel was completely renovated and festively opened on Monday, November 18. The first visitor received a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a welcome!

Fully renovated

The environmental street has been completely equipped with new sewers, floors and barriers, making it ready for the future. In order to serve the residents of the municipality in a more customer-friendly way, an elevation has been made, from which certain waste streams can be deposited in the container. Everything is modular and circularly constructed. The parts used are durable and can be easily taken apart. For example, the platform can be adjusted or moved. The world of waste and raw materials keeps changing, so we can easily adapt the environmental street to new situations in the future.

Collaboration

The new environmental street was created through a collaboration between the following parties: municipality of Son en Breugel (owner), Blink (operator), KWS Infra Eindhoven (contractor), Modulo Milieustraten (supply and placement of platforms), RA + (specifications and supervisor) and De Bries (design and project management).
