Your GFT and residual waste container will get a chip

After the summer, waste collector Blink, together with Inovim, will provide your GFT and residual waste container with a small chip and an address sticker. Each chip contains a unique number that will be linked to an address. Before they start chipping, you will receive a letter with an explanation and the dates when your containers will be chipped.

Chipping helps us to:
- properly Map the number and type of containers.
- prevent misuse (such as taking containers to another address).
- understand the average number of empties.

Container chipping is part of the 2024-2027 Commodity Plan, in which we strive for smarter and more sustainable waste management.
