Temporary traffic measures Remember September 2024
The following temporary traffic measures are in place for Remember September 2024 activities:
New Street - Raadhuisplein Church Square
From Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. to Monday, September 16, 2024 at noon, the following roads will be closed to through traffic:
- Nieuwstraat from the intersection Raadhuisplein, including Raadhuisplein and Church Square, to the intersection Heistraat/Markt.
- The road in front of Café-Restaurant De Zwaan (Markt/Kerkplein)
- Parking is prohibited in the parking lot behind the church tower in downtown Son.
Orange Street
From Thursday, September 12, 2024 through Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Orange Street will be closed to through traffic.
New Street Sept. 14, 2024
On Saturday, September 14, 2024 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the following roads will be closed to through traffic:
- Eindhovenseweg
- Canal Street
- New Street
- Hendrik Veeneman Street
- Rooijseweg
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, between 1:00 p.m. and approximately 2:30 p.m., there will be a parking ban on one side of Nieuwstraat from Kanaalstraat to the Wilhelminalaan/Boslaan intersection.
Sept. 15, 2024
On Sunday, September 15, 2024 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., the Kanaaldijk-Noord, from the corner of Nieuwstraat / Kanaaldijk-Noord to the entrance in front of the bike path, will be closed to through traffic.
Sept. 16, 2024
On Monday, September 16, 2024 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, the Airborneweg, between the Sonse Heideweg and the Schoor, will be closed to through traffic. Parking will be prohibited on Ockhuizenweg, from Airborneweg to Ockhuizenweg 20 and Airborneweg, from Landingsweg to Vernhout.
Sept. 17, 2024 - Commemoration
On Tuesday, September 17, 2024 between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., Europalaan, from Rembrandt Street to Boslaan, will be closed to through traffic.
