Temporary closure environmental street Son en Breugel
The current waste disposal site is being renovated. The floor and sewerage need to be replaced, and in the process the waste disposal facility will be made more user-friendly. This will be done by installing a platform that will allow visitors to throw their waste and raw materials from an elevation into the containers. The refurbishment will take place from Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024 through Nov. 15, 2024. On Monday, Nov. 18, the environmental site will reopen.
During the closure of the environmental street, the residents of Son en Breugel can go to the environmental street of the municipality of Laarbeek. You can only go to the Laarbeek recycling site with your environmental pass from the municipality of Son and Breugel. You pay the same fees as you pay for the environmental street in Son en Breugel.

You can find the waste disposal site at Stater 2 in Lieshout. During opening hours, the environmental street can be reached by telephone at: 0499 422 775. The environmental street is open on:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
