Retrospective World Clean-up Day Sept. 21, 2024

Last Saturday, Sept. 21, as part of World Cleanup Day, a group of over 20 participants cleared the area around Old Lake of litter. Accompanied by nature guides from the IVN, we took a two-hour walk in nature.

While the nature guides told us all about the natural "cleaners" in nature, we cleaned up a lot of litter. Despite the fact that
there had been recently cleaned up, a good deal of litter was brought in. Besides cans, bottles and packaging material, very special
things were found, such as a painting and a shoe!
 

World Cleanup Day is an annual recurring activity. In the spring, there will also be a cleanup event as part of the
National Cleanup Day We would like to invite you to participate.
