Grant received for pumptrack

Good news for youth: there is money for the new pumptrack track at De Molenwiek in Breugel. The grant application, which we and other municipalities submitted to the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region (MRE), has been approved. Soon we will go around the table with pumptrack builders. We hope to build the pumptrack this year. Residents, especially those living in the neighborhood, will be kept informed of developments.

Grant

The application is part of a collaboration between municipalities in the region. Together we want to increase the supply of urban sports facilities. For Son en Breugel this means that we receive € 70,000 from the Regio Deal of the MRE. Our city council had previously pledged € 80,000. So in total there is now € 150,000 available for the construction of the new pumptrack track. The council has previously determined the location De Molenwiek in Breugel.
