The College of Mayor and Aldermen (B&W) is the daily administration of the municipality. The municipal council appoints the aldermen. The municipality of Son en Breugel has 3 aldermen, in addition the mayor and the municipal secretary are part of the college. The mayor is the chairman of the college. 

The college deals with the preparation and implementation of council proposals, executes laws and ensures that decisions of the city council are carried out. The mayor and aldermen have divided tasks: the so-called portfolio division. They meet every Tuesday. These meetings are not public, but a decision list of each meeting is made public.
