Composition of college of mayor and aldermen

The Municipal Executive (B&W) is the day-to-day governing body of the municipality. The municipal council appoints the aldermen. The municipality of Son en Breugel has three aldermen. The mayor serves as the chair of the Municipal Executive, and the municipal secretary acts as its advisor. 

The college deals with the preparation and implementation of council proposals, executes laws and ensures that decisions of the city council are carried out. The mayor and aldermen have divided tasks: the so-called portfolio division. They meet every Tuesday. These meetings are not public, but a decision list of each meeting is made public.
