Appointment of member of Court of Auditors Son and Breugel

The council decides to appoint Mr. Ton van Bree as a member of the Son and Breugel Court of Auditors effective December 1, 2024.

Appointment of citizen member of CDA group 

The council appoints Mr. Giel van Beers as a citizen member on behalf of the CDA group. Mr. Van Beers also previously served as a citizen member from March 2018 to July 2022 and as a council member from July 2022 to October 2023.

Designation local public media institution municipality of Son and Breugel

The council decides to advise the Media Authority to reappoint Stichting Lokale Omroep Son en Breugel as the public media institution for the municipality of Son en Breugel for a period of five years.
This broadcaster meets all the requirements of Article 2.61, second paragraph, of the Media Act 2008.

Midwaste membership by GR Blink

The council decides not to submit an opinion on the accession to Midwaste by Joint arrangement (GR) Blink.
By joining Midwaste, we increase our clout and purchasing power with Blink. In addition, in this way we are part of a very strong network (especially in Brabant).

Informal care policy memorandum 2024-2029

The council adopts the Memorandum on Informal Care Policy 2024-2029 as amended. An amendment stipulates thatat the end of the policy period 2024-2029, the informal care policy will be evaluated and updated.
With this memorandum, we want to achieve that we support informal caregivers in our municipality by providing information and advice, substitute (respiteHealth, recognition and appreciation and we want to strengthen the local network of chain partners.
