What is it?
For maintenance or restoration of your monument, you can apply for a grant. Do you own a municipal monument? Then you can apply for a subsidy or financial contribution from the municipality.
As the owner of a national monument, you can apply for a subsidy through Monumenten.nl.
What to do.
If you think you qualify for a subsidy for the maintenance costs of a municipal monument, you can make a Make an appointment appointment with one of our employees. During this conversation, the municipality will review with you whether the costs for which you would like a grant meet the grant requirements. In addition, during this conversation you will receive information on how to apply for a grant and what information you need to submit.
You can apply for grants throughout the year. No special forms are available.
How does it work?
Subsidy conditions and a list of eligible maintenance costs can be found in the Subsidy Regulation for the Maintenance of Monuments Son and Breugel.
The amount of the subsidy is 30% of the approved maintenance costs up to a maximum of €5,000. Furthermore, the possibility exists for subsidy in the cost of the inspection of the Monuments Watch and related minor maintenance work.
