Youth Medal 2025: Do you know a young Son and Breugel hero?

Do you know an inhabitant of Son en Breugel, younger than 19, who has done something special?
And do you think this young hero should be put in the limelight?
Then apply for the Youth Medal. 

Who is a hero?

Here are a few examples.
A child or young person who is

• did something special.
• has achieved an extraordinary sporting achievement.
• is an example to others.
• helping a family member, elderly or sick person for a long time.
• Grocery shopping every week for someone in the neighborhood
• Does a lot of work for an association
• organized a good fundraiser for a good cause.

The mayor likes to put a young Son en Breugel hero in the spotlight every year.
She does so by presenting the Son en Breugel youth medal.

Do you know a Son and Breugel hero? Then nominate that person before August 1, 2025 by sending an email to jeugdpenning@sonenbreugel.nl.
Explain in the email why you think that person deserves a youth medal.
