Information evening geothermal survey

On Tuesday, September 24, Energie Beheer Nederland (EBN) is organizing an information evening for local residents and interested parties about a possible exploration well on the Raamdijk in the hamlet of Stad van Gerwen in the municipality of Nuenen. Various specialists will be present, such as geologists, drilling experts and experts who can tell more about the permit process. Representatives of the municipality of Nuenen will also be present.

Sustainable heat from the ground

Deep in the subsurface of our earth it is warm. This heat comes from water in deep earth layers. This geothermal heat can be used to heat homes and offices and is an alternative to natural gas, solar panels and wind farms. SCAN (this is the name of the geothermal study conducted by EBN in collaboration with TNO) is the exploration team that is Map the Dutch subsurface.
