Municipality of Son and Breugel thanks all entrepreneurs on the Day of the Entrepreneur
Friday, November 15, 2024 is the national 'day of the entrepreneur'. On this day, on behalf of the municipal executive, we would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to all entrepreneurs of Son en Breugel. Also to entrepreneurs in the region. Alderman Jan Boersma, who deals with economic affairs and Ekkersrijt, particularly praises the activity, organization and willingness to invest of the local entrepreneurs. According to him, they are an indispensable force for the economic and social development of the municipality.
"Our entrepreneurs not only provide jobs and economic growth, but also play an important role in creating a strong and connected community," said Alderman Boersma. "The resilience and adaptability they have shown in recent years is evidence of great entrepreneurship. We see how entrepreneurs in our community continue to invest time and again in their own businesses as well as their employees and the environment."
Alderman stresses the importance of a well-organized business climate, where businesses support each other and collaborations are established. "I am particularly proud of the way our entrepreneurs manage to organize themselves. The network they build and the willingness to share knowledge are of great value. This ensures that our municipality remains a vibrant and attractive business location, not only for existing companies but also for newcomers."
We also appreciate the willingness to invest shown by entrepreneurs. "Innovating and investing in sustainable growth are crucial, especially in times when the market is changing and sustainability requirements are increasing. The fact that our entrepreneurs are investing in the future right now shows their commitment and responsibility."
The municipality of Son and Breugel is committed to supporting and facilitating entrepreneurs as much as possible in their plans and ambitions. "We stand alongside our entrepreneurs because they contribute substantially to the well-being of our residents and the prosperity of our municipality. We remain in dialogue with them to see where we can contribute to their success," Alderman said.
