Several abuses found at DIT check 6 locations Son en Breugel
The Dommelstroom Intervention Team (DIT) checked six locations yesterday at a business park in Son en Breugel. Several violations were found in the process. For example, at one location illegal habitation was suspected. At another company, Enexis cut off the power when it turned out that the electricity meter was manipulated. At several companies, the storage of liquids was not in order. The owners have been addressed and, based on the findings, the municipality will further investigate a number of locations.
In general, the monitoring went well. Most owners cooperated and facilitated the work of the supervisors. At 2 businesses, there was initial reluctance to cooperate. This was mainly because the owners felt overwhelmed by the inspection.
The inspection involved the following agencies: municipality of Son en Breugel, police Oost-Brabant, Enexis and the Omgevingsdienst Zuidoost Brabant (ODZOB).
