The Living Room of Breugel is open

The Living Room of Breugel opened Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2025. The Living Room is located in De Boerderij and is a meeting place for anyone who feels like a cup of coffee and a chat. 

With the cutting of a festive cake, Alderman Jelle de Jong officially opened the Living Room Tuesday afternoon.

• The Breugel Living Room is an initiative of volunteers from De Boerderij, Archipel, LEVgroep, the library and the Seniors Council.
• The Living Room is now open Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• On Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings, there are activities for seniors at Archipel Do and Share.
• On Wednesday afternoons, the LEV Group is present for meeting and support.
• On Friday afternoons, the Senior Citizens Council organizes coffee mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.
• You can also visit the Digital Government Information Office (IDO) at the Library on Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Members of Dommel Valley Library can now borrow books there.
