BSOB asks for your help with WOZ value

This year Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant (BSOB), on behalf of the municipality of Son and Breugel, determines the WOZ value of all homes. If you have a house for sale, you will receive a letter this week. In the letter you are asked to provide information about your home. This information helps to properly calculate the WOZ value. You can easily submit the information online via a QR code in the letter. Would you rather call? That is also possible.

Why is your information important?

Sometimes BSOB does not have the latest information about your home. For example, if you have recently remodeled or improved something on your home. Or if there is overdue maintenance or an outdated bathroom. If that information is missing, BSOB must make a realistic estimate of the WOZ value. 

It is important that the WOZ value is correct. Because if the value is too high, you may be paying too much tax. Even though estimating the WOZ value usually goes well, every mistake is one too many. 

If you provide the correct information yourself, BSOB does not need to make estimates. With your help, BSOB gets the correct and current information. In this way, the WOZ value is accurately checked and you can be sure that you will receive a fair tax assessment.
