Municipal monument
This monumental farmhouse was built in 1929 and has been occupied by the van Overveld family ever since. This property was the first to receive municipal monument status in 2013. Around the from the air recognizable farmhouse landed on September 17, 1944 thousands of paratroopers and hundreds of gliders with equipment to initiate Operation Market Garden - and thus the liberation of the Netherlands. With the materials left behind by the American soldiers, the residents have set up a small museum on site.
