Are you 25 years old or older? Have you entered an e-mail address in MijnOverheid? 

If so, you will receive a welcome email from MijnOverheid next week. This mail contains information about a new service that MijnOverheid offers.

Messages about your neighborhood

If you wish, starting next week you will receive an e-mail from Overheid.nl with "Messages about your Neighborhood" up to once a week. With this e-mail service, the government wants to keep you better informed about issues that are going on in your own neighborhood. And you will receive information about how you can object or have your say.

Many decisions made by the government directly affect your town, village or neighborhood. What renovation does your neighbor want done to their house? May that tree in your street be cut down? We and other government organizations are required to announce this (digitally). We call these announcements "Notices About Your Neighborhood.
