All current collection dates are listed in Blink's waste calendar. In it you will also find all the information about collection and all the different types of waste streams.
The Waste Calander Blink app
The Afvalkalander Blink app can be accessed by computer, smartphone and tablet. You can download the Blink app for free from the Google Play or App Store. Through the app, you get information about days we pick up your waste, an annual calendar, a waste guide, the option to put the days your waste is picked up in your calendar, information about the different types of waste and container locations.
The app allows you to set reminders so you never miss a collection day. Not getting any notifications? Then take a look under the heading "Tips for using the app. Frequently asked questions are answered here.

Waste not collected
Has your garbage not been picked up? Report it to our waste collector Blink before noon the next day by calling 0800-0492 or sending an email to klantenservice@mijnblink.nl.
Please make sure your trash is at the road before 7:30 a.m. You are not allowed to put your waste at the road before 10:00 p.m. prior to the collection day.
PMD waste and diapers in special bags
PMD waste and diapers are collected separately in the municipality of Son & Breugel, each with their own type of garbage bag.
You can pick up PMD bags free of charge at supermarket counters (except Aldi) and at the reception desk of City Hall.
Diaper bags are available free of charge at town hall reception, daycare centers and preschools.
Return incontinence materials and diapers
Diapers wipes and incontinence material* are collected in the municipality of Son & Breugel in special diaper bags. You can then hand in these filled diaper bags in the designated diaper containers of Blink. These containers are located at various fixed locations throughout our municipality.
Diaper bags are available free of charge at town hall reception, daycare centers and preschools.
Blink's diaper containers are set up at:
- Preschool Jip and Janneke, Venuslaan 1a, Breugel
- Preschool 't Hummeltje / Korein Kinderplein, Ruysdaelstraat 6, Son
- Korein Kinderplein, Sint Genovevastraat 33, Breugel
- Korein Kinderplein, IJssellaan 4, Son
- De Ruimte elementary school, Honingbij 1, Breugel
- Zandstraat 35, Son
- Van Gentlaan 4, Breugel
*For some people who use ostomy, dialysis and incontinence materials, the four-weekly emptying of residual container is not sufficient. For them it is possible, in consultation with the municipality, to place a second residual container.
Allowed in diaper containers:
- wipes
- incontinence material,
Not allowed in diaper containers:
- sanitary napkins (residual waste)
- Medical waste (KCA, via environmental street)
- ostomy waste (residual waste)
Drop off PMD waste
You can offer PMD waste in special PMD bags. To hang PMD bags, you can pick up a crown ring free of charge at City Hall. You place this crown ring around the trunk of a tree in front of your house. You can then hang your PMD bags from this ring on the days the PMD waste is collected from your house.
PMD waste is collected once every 2 weeks starting at 7:30 a.m. Check the waste calendar to see when Blink can collect the waste from you.
Handing in textiles
You can bring textiles to the textile containers set up on the 17 Septemberplein, Van Gentlaan, Brabantlaan and at the Milieustraat.
