Directly regulate
What is it?
Waste containers (mini-containers) belong to an address. If you move, you must leave the containers behind. At your new address there is a gray and a green container (140 liter or 240 liter container).
Underground containers
Underground containers have been installed at a number of high-rise locations and in the 't Zand neighborhood.
Time of waste collection
- Your container must be at the road by 7:30 a.m. on the day of collection.
- You may put the container at the street one day in advance (starting at 10 p.m.).
Always up to date
All current collection dates are listed in Blink's waste calendar. In it you will also find all the information about collection and all the different types of waste streams. The waste calendar Blink app can be accessed by computer, smartphone and tablet. You can download the Blink app for free in the Google Play or App Store. Through the app you get information about days when we collect your waste, an annual calendar, a waste guide, the option to put the days your waste is collected in your calendar, information about the different types of waste and the locations of containers.

What to do.
No container at your home address
Request your container through Blink's Waste Desk.

Container not emptied
Through the waste desk on the website, you can make a report that the container has not been emptied. To do so, go to 'report a problem or complaint' and go through the steps to complete the report. You can also contact customer service on 0800 - 0492 or send an e-mail to Blink. If your container has not been emptied, you can report this no later than 12:00 noon on the day after collection. The request to leave the waste offered until further notice. If a container is offered late or not according to guidelines, Blink will not drive back.
Swapping containers
If you want a smaller or larger container, you can arrange this through Blink's waste desk.
The containers must be delivered clean.
Container broken or lost
You can report a repair through the waste desk on the website. Go to 'report container' and follow the steps to report a repair. You can also contact customer service via 0800 - 0492 or via e-mail.
PMD (Plasic Metal and Beverage Cartons) container
The PMD container is 240 liters and is suitable for intermediate storage of PMD bags. The container may not be placed on the street. You can request the container through the waste desk.
Waste pass application
You can request a new waste pass through the waste desk on the website. Go to the waste desk and then to 'request waste pass'. Follow the steps to complete the request. You will receive an email confirming your request. You can also contact customer service on 0800 - 0492 or by email.
Underground container malfunction
Malfunctioning underground Waste container? Contact Blink 0800 - 0492 or after 5 p.m. e-mail.
We will do our best to resolve the outage within one business day.
Are you also thinking of your fellow residents? Please take your trash back home and do not place anything next to the containers.
Black caps lid
Black caps on the side of the lid can be picked up free of charge at the reception desk of City Hall.
